At home in Antigua since 2003
We’ve had a sport school in Antigua since 2003; it was the FIRST international school of sport to be awarded the prestigious STAmark with distinction. STA is the world’s largest swim teaching and life saving organisation and has over 5,000 members worldwide.
We are not just teachers but tutors, too. So we have the capability to train and qualify others to become swimming teachers or first aiders.
In fact, the Swalings team is the ONLY group of tutors in the Caribbean.
As we are based right here on the island, we believe we offer you invaluable local knowledge.
Whatever sport you choose to learn, all our classes and courses are open to both boys and girls, and groups are organised by age and ability. Lessons are expertly structured and children closely supervised with the emphasis firmly on learning through fun and enjoyment.
We don’t just teach sport, we change lives
In the the water or on the sports pitch or court, we help children become more confident in their own abilities and themselves. We also help to instil life skills and core values that will benefit them whatever they chose to do later in life. These include experiencing and understanding teamwork, winning and losing, striving for a goal, self-discipline and commitment.
